Coronavirus: Written in History
Updated: Mar 25, 2020
A week like no other
We are writing the history books today and people will look back many years from now to see how we handled the coronavirus pandemic.
When did we see the warning signs?
How did we handle this?
Could we have done better?
Just some of the questions for us to consider and the future generation to assess.
These are not tough times, yet, but testing times. These events define who we are, show our qualities as human beings and brings out leaders in our businesses and our households.
Who do we look to?
Our world leaders are being tested like never before. People look to them for guidance, security, assurance that things will be as they were, we will be OK and we will get past this. In truth no one knows when this will pass, we just need to shelter the storm. At the very least we need to follow the guidelines given to us.
We will get past this and the human race will go on, however questions will continue to come out from the aftermath of this. I can't help but think what our top nations could do if they worked together. We are fighting an enemy we cannot see, the worlds heavily invested troops wont be able to win this fight. Our real troops are the doctors and nurses and we should be investing in them.
We are ONE
The Coronavirus has given us a message; No man or woman is better than another. It doesn't pick between rich and poor, we are all equal. Lets look after one another and be decent with everyone.
While we keep our distances in our homes now is the time for us all to come together and learn from these events. Remember your families and friends, think of your neighbors and the elderly. The words "Keep Calm and Carry On" has never been more relevant.
Future Thinkings.
